Description | Based on the background of the national carbon peaking and carbon neutrality development strategy, this project introduces new energy and IoT technology, and creates a new transportation model of “hydrogen energy vehicles + mobile cabins + one vehicle with multiple temperature zones” with digital platforms, well-known cold chain express companies and a team of academicians from Beijing Institute of Technology to create a brand of intelligent green logistics solution provider - Hydrogen City Express. This project focuses on continuous efforts in fresh food, food cold chain, vaccines, biological products, pharmaceutical cold chain, electronic component cold chain, and other areas. At present, the transportation capacity of 200 new energy (full electric and hydrogen) light trucks has been achieved. It is expected to achieve a capacity of 500 new energy (full electric and hydrogen) light trucks by the end of 2023. The Company has been awarded the title of “Green Freight Distribution Demonstration Enterprise of Foshan City”. The mobile cold chain cabin, as a core product, is a modular cold chain equipment based on aerospace technology, which is designed for pharmaceutical cold chain, fresh food cold chain, and food hot chain transportation scenarios. The product can be used as a temporary cold storage in static state and as a temperature-controlled container in dynamic transportation, which effectively bridges the boundaries between storage and transportation to achieve the integration of the production, circulation, and consumption ends of cold chain commodities. The product is suitable for cross-province/city and transnational long-distance transportation and transfer storage, and can provide end-to-end, full-temperature and accurate quality assurance for high-quality fresh food and medicine, vaccines, reagents, etc. By combining with new energy hydrogen vehicles (new energy cold chain vehicles use hydrogen as the power source), the low-carbon goal can also be effectively achieved. The product adopts new energy technologies (such as electric, hydrogen, etc.). Compared with traditional fuel vehicles, new energy hydrogen vehicles have lower energy consumption and emissions, which can not only reduce dependence on fossil fuels, but also reduce emissions of harmful gases such as carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxides. |
Key data | In the cooperation with a certain dairy enterprise, the customer needs both urban distribution and truck-road transportation. The peak demand for urban transportation is nearly 40 vehicles per day, while the peak demand for truck-road transportation is nearly 20 vehicles per day. The daily demand for vehicles fluctuates greatly, and it is required to respond to the demand for vehicles within 8 hours. Since the cooperation, the timeliness rate of response for vehicles in the supply chain has reached 100% every month, flexibly responding to the customer’s needs for vehicles, and assisting the customer to increase the timeliness rate of arrival of goods by more than 10%. |

Status quo/Progress | At present, a capacity of 200 new energy (full electric and hydrogen) light trucks has been achieved, and it is expected to reach a capacity of 500 new energy (full electric and hydrogen) light trucks by the end of 2023. At present, the vehicles operated by the Company are all new energy vehicles, which meet the characteristics of long transportation distance and high load requirements of refrigerated logistics vehicles and customers’ needs for green logistics. This year, the Company will upgrade its business model, actively expand the application scale of hydrogen energy vehicles, expand the external domestic markets, and further improve the profitability and sustainable development capacity. |
