Description

Focusing on three links (investment in logistics facilities, integration of logistics business and integration of logistics resources), the Company uses Internet thinking and platform mode to develop four business units of “transaction+logistics+finance+data” according to the strategic orientation of “platform+whole industry chain” to realize safer, more efficient and lower-cost coal trading.

To achieve the above objectives, the Company first built a regional benchmark multimodal transport demonstration project and innovated a new “railway + tubular conveyor belt” multimodal transport mode. Relying on the “Hebi Coal Industrial Park Multimodal Transport Demonstration Project”, Henan Coal Trading Center has carried out coal container road-rail multimodal transport, innovated the organization mode of coal “railway + tubular conveyor belt” multimodal transport, and achieved higher operational efficiency and better energy conservation and emission reduction effects.

Transporting coal by tubular conveyor belt instead of automobile transport can reduce the emissions of carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, PM2.5 and hydrocarbons during automobile transport. The unit energy consumption of tubular conveyor belt system is 0.06084 tons/10,000 tons/km, which is lower than that of water transport (0.0695 tons/10,000 tons/km), accounting for 7% of that of road transport (0.8519 tons/10,000 tons/km) and 87% of that of railway transport (0.0703 tons/10,000 tons/km).

At the same time, the Center continues to promote the application of new energy heavy-duty trucks in road transport and build a green transportation demonstration line. Based on the coal transportation scenario and relying on the online freight platform, Henan Coal Trading Center guides franchised vehicles to upgrade into pure electric heavy-duty trucks and hydrogen heavy-duty trucks, thus creating a green coal transportation channel, actively promoting the upgrading of transportation capacity structure, and realizing clean coal transportation. The construction of special railway lines and tubular conveyor belt system and the use of information intelligent systems can achieve online closed-loop management of the whole process of logistics business.

Key data

Since the tubular conveyor belt transportation system was put into operation in 2020, it has shipped 2.66 million tons of coal, and reduced carbon emissions by 6,312 tons compared with road transport.

The new “railway + tubular conveyor belt” multimodal transport mode is innovated. In the whole multimodal transport mode, the railway transport distance is 641 km, and the tubular conveyor belt transport distance is 30 km, which significantly improves the emission reduction effect. According to the transportation volume of 2.66 million tons since the mode was put into operation in 2020, compared with road transport, “railway+ tubular conveyor belt” multimodal transport has reduced fuel consumption by 127,600 tons, saved energy consumption by about 46,000 tons of standard coal and reduced carbon dioxide emission by about 67,000 tons.

In the “railway+ tubular conveyor belt” multimodal transport mode, coal can enter the raw coal bunker of the boiler of the power plant without landing through the tubular conveyor belt. The coal conveying capacity of the tubular conveyor belt is 1,850 tons per hour, and the daily conveying capacity is 18,500 tons on a 10h basis, which is equivalent to 560 vehicle trips/day. Compared with the short barge to the plant by automobile transport, the cost of transporting one ton of coal is reduced by more than 20yuan.

Status quo/Progress

The new mode of “network freight platform + new energy vehicles” is practiced. Since the pilot line was launched in March 2023, 21 new energy vehicles have joined, including 13 pure electric heavy-duty trucks and 8 hydrogen energy heavy-duty trucks, realizing the coordinated and stable operation of loading, unloading and charging. In the future, the construction of container yards will be accelerated, the multimodal function will be expanded, and new energy demonstration lines and related industrial chains will be built to help the construction and stable operation of the hydrogen energy industrial chain.

Innovation point

Innovations have been made in transportation mode, transportation equipment and information construction: innovating the “railway + tubular conveyor belt” transportation mode, applying new equipment, building new energy vehicle transportation lines, innovating the concept of digital development, and enhancing competitiveness and risk resistance.
