Description | In recent years, with the diversification of travel modes and other changes in the social environment, the passenger source of Mengyin County's passenger transportation industry has been decreasing year by year, enterprises have been losing money for years; some urban and rural bus routes have been idle, are closed, and employees are surplus and their incomes are low, the passenger transport industry is unstable, and passenger transport enterprises urgently need transformation, development, and profitability. The transportation company adopts the bus-post cooperation, replaces the traditional transport capacity of the postal distribution system with urban and rural passenger transport routes, and realizes the delivery of postal parcels between the county postal company and the township branch in the form of “piggy backing”; through the cooperation of bus and express delivery, several express companies form a common distribution center to achieve information sharing and unified distribution; improve the stations at the county, township and village levels, make full use of and integrate resources with the existing passenger stations, township traffic control offices and express outlets, and improve the three-level comprehensive service system of “one station with multiple functions and one point with more use”; and promote the opening and operation of public transport in the whole region. The integrated development of passenger, freight and mail transportation is a historical opportunity for enterprise transformation. With the goal of overcoming business difficulties, broadening new sources of income and maintaining the stability of the team, the transportation company will actively participate in tripartite cooperation. |
Key data | It is estimated that after the integration of several express delivery companies, the delivery cost of express delivery enterprises has been reduced by nearly 70%; every year, the income of passenger transport enterprises can be increased by about 500,000yuan, and more than 60 redundant staff of transportation companies can be settled. In 2022, the peach sent by Mengyin County through e-commerce has reached 12 million orders of about 30 million kg. |
