Abstract | On the basis of a comprehensive review on macro policies, market trends, and development cycle of postal express enterprises, the report proposes a strategic framework for low-carbon transition in postal express industry as well as a series of supporting tools to boost the low-carbon transition and high-quality development of the industry. The report believes that exploring the strategies for low-carbon transition in postal express industry is not only of great significance for protecting the environment and comprehensively improving the sustainable development, but also plays a significant role in addressing climate change and achieving the temperature control goals set out in the Paris Agreement. In our country, the low-carbon transition path of postal express industry covers green transport, and green infrastructure operation and packaging governance. Based on this, the report analyzes the current situation of low-carbon transition in postal express industry, clarifies its general path, reviews the industry indicators for such transition, and updates the carbon accounting method for postal express industry to provide an idea of low-carbon transition for more postal express enterprises. |
