Abstract

As one of the top ten actions to achieve carbon peaking, the green and low-carbon transport has great potential for zero-carbon transition, energy conservation, and carbon reduction, with wide influence and great significance.

The report notes that the electrification of vehicles, sharing of travel resources, low-carbon travel structure, green power source, and intelligent transportation system are the keys to boost the low-carbon transition of urban transport.

The report believes that the zero-carbon transition is achievable in the transport industry and even the whole society by scientifically quantifying the digital travel platforms to consolidate the “data base” for low-carbon development, by effectively implementing and orderly reducing the carbon emissions from travel within the platform ecosystem, by enhancing the public awareness of environmental protection and motivating the whole society to participate in carbon emission reduction from the perspective of digital carbon inclusion, and by properly planning and proposing the “1+3” digital travel mode to facilitate the realization of carbon neutrality.
