Beijing Highway & Railway Green Chain Multimodal Transportation Co., Ltd. works with Hanma Technology to vigorously promote new energy heavy trucks in Wick Open Pit Mine Area in Miyun, Beijing.

Supported by Hanma H7 battery replacement heavy trucks, Beijing Highway & Railway Green Chain actively builds a green transportation mode of "railway+new energy heavy trucks", which uses the railway trunk line to complete long-distance transportation and uses new energy heavy trucks for transportation at both ends of railway lines.   

This mode is adopted for transportation of sand and gravel aggregate from Wick Open Pit Mine in Miyun District of Beijing to Daxing District Mixing Plant. The whole journey from Wick Open Pit Mine in Miyun District to the mixing plant in Daxing District is 120km. The long-distance transportation from Jugezhuang Station to Huangcun Station adopts railway transportation, and Hanma H7 battery replacement heavy trucks are used for transportation at both ends of the line.

In Wick Open Pit Mine in Miyun, Beijing Highway & Railway Green Chain set up a battery replacement station for heavy trucks. It takes new energy trucks only 5-6 minutes to replace the battery, which greatly improves the attendance rate of new energy vehicles. In addition, the battery replacement station is also equipped with energy storage equipment, which can utilize off-peak electricity to realize scientific utilization of power resources, thus meeting high-frequency transportation in mine areas, reducing cost and increasing efficiency of enterprises and making contribution to energy saving and emission reduction for the industry.

Hanma H7 battery replacement heavy truck is equipped with a 360kw super powerful motor, equipped with 9-speed AMT automatic gearbox, and 282kwh battery, and its full-load range is up to 170 km.

Since 2019, Beijing Highway & Railway Green Chain has purchased 76 Hanma H7 battery replacement heavy trucks. Up to now, the Hanma H7 battery replacement heavy truck fleet has traveled 5.15 million kilometers in total, with average power consumption of 1.38 kWh per kilometer and consumption of 7.12 million kWh of electricity, equivalent to saving 2.37 million liters of diesel oil and achieving over 6.23 million kilogram of carbon emission reduction.

Since the first batch of Hanma H7 battery replacement heavy trucks were put into use, the maximum operating range of a truck has reached 400,000 kilometers. A single truck can complete 4 round trips per day, with an operating range of 800 kilometers, and a maximum operating range of a single truck is up to 400,000 kilometers.

The new energy battery replacement heavy trucks will be used in the commercial road freight transport industry, and the railway & highway multimodal transportation is adopted.
