New Track of Battery Replacement Mode for Heavy Truck Industry

In the past two years, the rapid development of battery replacement heavy truck has paved the way of "electric energy substitution" for heavy truck, the main mobile source of air pollutants, and found a new development direction for electric vehicles (EVs) in terms of technology and business model. Compared with the conventional electric heavy truck, the battery replacement heavy truck has the advantages of fast energy replenishment, modularization, and strong adaptability to low temperature. At present, the battery replacement heavy truck market is in the introduction period of promotion. Various automobile enterprises actively launch relevant products targeting at the freight market such as “short transportation”, while certain problems exist in different standards and high cost of power battery. Under the goal of "carbon emission peaking and carbon neutrality", the way to promote the application of battery replacement heavy truck is worthy of attention and exploration of the whole industry.
