The transport industry will launch a three-year action plan for improving the quality and efficiency of administrative law enforcement
Recently, the official website of the Ministry of Transport published the Three-Year Action Plan for Improving the Quality and Efficiency of Transport Administrative Law Enforcement (2024-2026) (hereinafter referred to as the Action Plan). To further deepen the reform of transport comprehensive administrative law enforcement and promote the transition of the transport administrative law enforcement team from a quantity-and-scale model to that of quality and efficiency, it is decided to launch a three-year action plan to enhance the quality and efficiency of transport administrative law enforcement.
According to the Action Plan, by the end of 2026, the effects of addressing prominent problems in transport law enforcement will be continuously consolidated and expanded. The concept of enforcing laws in the interests of the people will gain great popularity and be effectively practiced. The quality and capabilities of the administrative law enforcement team will be significantly improved. With the establishment of a clean and upright law enforcement environment, public satisfaction will be greatly enhanced and the role of law enforcement in supporting the high-quality development of transport will be better realized.
The key tasks of the three-year action plan include four main areas, namely taking political building as our overarching principle to make unremitting efforts to improve conduct, enforce discipline, strictly standardizing law enforcement activities to enforce laws in the interests of the people, improving the ranks of law-enforcing personnel to continuously strengthen quality and capabilities, and improve the systems and mechanisms for coordinated law enforcement to perfect the law enforcement work system. These tasks involve strict and practical investigation and rectification, standardized penalty enforcement, optimizing law enforcement methods, improving law enforcement team structure, deepening regional law enforcement cooperation, building an intelligent law enforcement system, and improving the law enforcement supervision system, among others.
