No worry about travel or logistics! Nine government departments issued a document to accelerate the integrated development of passenger and freight transportation combined postal services in rural areas
Recently, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce, the State Post Bureau, the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives, and the China Post Group Corporation jointly issued the Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Integrated Development of Passenger and Freight Transportation Combined Postal Services in Rural Areas (hereinafter referred to as the Guiding Opinions) to promote the integrated development of passenger and freight transportation combined (PFT-combined) postal services in rural areas and better meet the demand of rural residents for travel, freight transportation, logistics, and postal services in rural areas.
According to the Guiding Opinions, by 2027, county-level administrative regions where conditions permit will realize full coverage of the integrated development of PFT-combined postal services, the number of PFT-combined postal services stations at county, township, and village levels will reach over 100,000 nationwide, and the number of rural PFT-combined postal services routes will surpass 20,000. By then, a new rural transport service model characterized by multi-functional stations, multi-use networks, energy conservative functions, convenience and efficiency, will be essentially built. The service level and sustainable development capacity of rural transportation will see significant improvement and the people will have a much stronger sense of fulfillment, happiness and security.
